Description
- Inspect and maintain a vessel’s condition to ensure seaworthiness
- Ensure that the ship’s staff comply with management policies and safety from a mechanical and technical aspect
- Research and implement new procedures to improve daily operations
- Liaise with Chief Engineers and Master Mariners to ensure the smooth running of vessels
Technical Superintendent
Relevant degree/diploma
- Degree in Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Relevant certifications & skills
- Certificate of Competency (CoC) (Marine Engineer Officer) Class 1
- Good communication and people management skills
